I love recycled crafts. There is something awesome about repurposing things you might otherwise throw away. These handmade letter shaped boxes by Studio DIY are so much fun. What’s great is that you can follow Kelly’s overall tutorial to create your own large cardboard box in almost any shape you want. You could make a few letters to spell out a fun word for a party, or make a single letter box as a gift box for a special friend. I know that I would LOVE to have an R shaped box lying around my house somewhere. I’d probably use it to store my washi tape collection. One tip is that angular letters are much easier than curved ones. It might even be best to create angular and more geometric shaped letters for some of them. Once you’ve made your letters, you can decorate them by painting them bright colors, covering them in cute fabric and Mod Podge (like this tutorial), or giving them a sparkly and metallic look (like this tutorial).
